AEMA Certifies ERMC Consultants to Instruct CIFFC ICS 300

Posted on: Wednesday, September 7th, 2011

The Alberta Emergency Management Agency (AEMA) has just confirmed that four ERMC consultants have been added to the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre (CIFFC) Incident Command System (ICS) official instructor list.
ERMC is pleased to announce: Ed Wendlandt, Dave Martin, Marcel Adamkewicz and Bruno Cornejo have been certified to instruct ICS 300. ERMC consultants remain certified to deliver AEMA ICS 100-200.
ICS is a recognized model for command, control and coordination of response at the site of an emergency. Originally designed in response to wildfires, ICS has evolved into a flexible and scalable management system, providing a common response framework suitable to any size of emergency event.
ERMC is delighted to provide this service to our clientele. We are currently pursuing ICS 400 instructor certification, and estimate this credential by the end of 2011.
